The European Commission officially approved “Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy 2007 - 2013” Operational Programme

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Sergei Stanishev and Commissioner Danuta Hübner signed the documents for the approval of the Programme on 27 September 2007. thus practically giving our country the opportunity to absorb over 1,1 bln. euro from the European Regional Development Fund and from the national budget of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The Operational Programme will contribute to the development of a dynamic economy, competitive in the European and world market by encouraging innovations, increasing the efficiency of enterprises and improving the business environment in Bulgaria.
